Built off the field, and proven on it

The complete athlete starts here. Developing athletes off the field to create better results on it.

The basics

A holistic approach to developing elite athletes

Outcomes on the field are often a result of the work put in during the offseason. Our carefully crafted offseason development plan helps athletes improve strength, performance, agility and athleticism.

Year Round Development

Each season has a purpose.

What players work on depends on the time of year and how close the season is.

Off-season to Postseason

  1. Baseline Testing

Establishing a baseline to track players' growth and progress throughout the year

  2. Off-season

    Strength and Performance

Players add muscle and get stronger during this stage of the year. It allows players to be prepared for success on the field.

  3. Progress Evaluation

Players are retested to track progress from the beginning of the offseason.

  4. Preseason

    Speed and Power

This stage focuses on transitioning what was built in the offseason to speed and power on the field.

  5. In season

    Maintain the Edge

Keeping players healthy all season long. Schedules crafted around time on field.

  6. Postseason

    Recover for Next Year

Players finish the year with rest, so they start the next off-season fresh and healthy.

Futures to Premier

The plan grows as they do.

Futures and Bantam share one plan, and Junior and Premier have their own.

    Build the Athlete

Younger players focus on being good athletes first. That means speed, quick feet, core work and learning to move well. It's the base they'll build on as they get older.

    Strength, Then Power

Older players put on muscle in the off-season. Then they turn it into speed and power as the season gets close.

What it covers

Four parts of the plan.

  • Training

Players build muscle, speed and power, each at its own time of year.

  • Eating Well

We talk with players about food and how much to eat to train hard.

  • Recovery and Stretching

Rest and stretching change with the season, to keep players loose and healthy.

  • Injury Prevention

Getting strong helps stop injuries. If one happens, we refer players to local physio.
